Iraq is like a hornets nest.

Stay away from a hornets nest. The hornets will leave you alone. But go and mess with a hornets nest, Some very big trouble is sown. Somebody getting bitten? Don't fault the hornets for taking aim. He who messed with the nest is to blame.

:House Demolitions Are Terrorism

There are people in Israel and no doubt elsewhere who say House Demolitions prevent terrorism. Surely they are being Ironic. House demolitions are terrorism to start with and I do not think leaving a Palestinian family homeless and living in a tent with nothing but the clothes they managed to escape in helps toward a peaceful solution.

Rather, I think it would make the family so mired in grief and rage that they would feel anything but peaceful towards Israel. Imagine saying to an Israeli well Hitler killed your family and sent the rest to Bergen Belsen I expect this makes you want to support the Reich. Well that's how Israelis sound when they support house demolitions. Leaving people homeless , injured and dead intentionally by government policy is far worse than someone who has been so denied respect they decide to kill themselves and others in a suicide attack.

Lest any Israeli think I support bombs on buses and in shops etc I definitely do not. But these things do not happen for no reason.

Israelis take a long hard look at the policies of Zionism and reject them. A democratic state for everyone whether Jewish, Christian, or Muslim is the only solution. Not the military dictatorship you have now.

I don't know what access you might have, where you are, to American Films - but if it is humanly possible PLEASE go and see "The Corporation" - because this contains the key to the actual problems that are currently facing the entire world.

ps, Even if you could somehow get hold of a transcript that might be enough - because this is not so much for the visual experience, as it is for the information contained within the entirety of the film itself. Howard Zinn is part of this as is Choamsky and Michael Moore - but the hero's of this film are the little people of the world who have already begun to fight back, and are showing us all how to win this fight!
