Confederacy, peaceful co-existence, whatever it takes

Hello,
in the 1960's, I was an Israeli supporter without question. however, I have seen much and heard much since then. I do not support suicide bombings but.... Israel has to define its borders along with Palestinians. what are biblical borders versus borders that make sense today?
Many claim the holy land. no one owns any land on earth. we take care of it for a while. the (w)holy land can only be whole through mutual compassion and understanding. Muslim, Christian, Jew.
My sympathy is with the Palestinian people. may the force be with them!

Every imperialist power needs cannon fodder

It took Mr. Galloway, a Scottish MP visiting  Iraq , to see the thousands of Latino US army troops , hoping to receive US citizenship, serving at the gunning end of power.

Now Bush is telling the UN to send in bodies to keep the natives down. Meanwhile back at the ranch, the empire moves on to greater deeds of glory. The next election and the axis of evil.

Greetings:
The article by John Winston Churchill on the US now turning to the United Nations is really great.  I totally agree with Mr Churchill's sentiments.

Now that the US is in a terrible quagmire of its own making - and it certainly was warned by the whole world on the folly of invading Iraq - suddenly the UN is relevant.  I would say, however, that it is rather to little and much to late in the day.  The UN must not legitimize the US/British/Australian war on Iraq.

Authority must be turned over to the Iraqi people as soon as possible, and the foreign occupiers must get the hell out of Iraq, where they have no business being present, especially under false pretenses and lies. The UN, though with its tarnished history regarding Iraq, perhaps can still play a role in helping to rebuild that country shattered by the US and its cohorts.

Sincerely,

The Israeli Apartheid Wall

I went to a lecture/slide show on the Apartheid Wall this evening at a
church in Portsmouth New Hampshire.  It was the first time I saw the
whole complex as it sprawls and dissects Palestine... the barbed razor
wire fence, the full extent of the segregated highway and how it also
serves to sever Palestinians from the land and then of course, the
Concentration Camp Wall.  The speakers told of the water pipes being smashed and the reservoir drained and destroyed... horror after horror...

I spoke with a woman last week who had just returned from Palestine and was part of a study group.  She claimed there are plans under way to bring "economic development" to the region now that shops and markets have been destroyed.  They will be essentially slave labor camps for the inhabitants within the wall/wire who refuse to leave.

Work for the Zionist industries or die from thirst and starvation.

So few in America know what is really going on.  To them the Israelis are the victims of Hamas aggression. Period.  That is all they hear, that is all
they are permitted to see.  America is the muscle for the Zionist brain... the Master Race.

One morning while looking for news other than from the West, I hit upon Al-Jazeerah website. Eversince then, every morning when I reach my office, I'll log onto the net and the first web-site I visit is Al-Jazeerah.

Every morning, Al-Jazeerah provides the news I needed to know from the 'other side' in the Middle-East. Best of all, it allows people to express their opinions.

I am not a journalist or an expert analyst for Middle East, but one of the many visitors of the web-site. I am through with reading journalist work that only report the same thing over and over on the vicious circles of violence there.

Your web-site have provided people like me and others who contributed to express their feelings and opinions particularly for events in the Mid-East, not that it matters to the leaders of the countries, but that
these collective opinions from various people around the world, showed that we are not morons who can be fooled, lied to and manipulated by the leaders of some countries. We are just individuals who are helpless to
do anything other than to watch the world crumbled before us.

Please keep up the good work for this site.

Central electricity is fuelish

With the phony electricity blackout hearings in Washington it
should be clear that we need radicle change in our life support systems and
energy is just one of them.

Electricity that is centrally generated is wasting over two thirds
of the fuel used to produce it. We pay for the electricity with the fuel
waste and transmission losses included. We then pay for heating fuel. The
water problem can be solved as well with Hydrogen delivered to the end user.

We need to look at bringing the energy and water supply into our
own control. The Hydrogen Economy goes a few step further and consolidates
the amenity infrastructure reducing the costs of creating and maintaining
cities and villages.

The funds to retrofit to the Hydrogen economy are the present and
future funds needed to maintain the exiting amenity infrastructure. It
costs a billion dollars per hundred thousand population in any city over
fifty years old just to maintain the five part amenity infrastructure. For
