Thanks for printing my latest letter. It seems that US Inland Security, or some Zionist lobby, or both are reading your website with alarm. This of course is no surprise to you.

This morning (October 7, 2003), 6:25 BC time I got a threatening call....the man's voice at the other end said something to the effect..."you are Jack, you use a certain website", and when I asked who I was speaking to, the voice continued "we know who you are, we know where you are", and then quickly hung up.

I must say, I am not surprised at this. This just further proves that the truth about the BIG LIE, which you and so many others are trying to expose is being suppressed....they think! They are doing their dirty best to close down Aljazeerah. This intimidation will not stop me, nor frighten me as it is meant to do. I will contact the authorities here, the telephone company, and will certainly be more on alert. Interesting times we live in fueled by American 'apple pie a la mode democracy' .

I salute you and all courageous people all over the world who have decided to express their right of self-expression. It's amazing that people are threatened for expressing their constitutional rights, particularly the peaceful method of freedom of speech and freedom of expression. I encourage readers to expose these people and report these incident to the law enforcement agencies. No civilized society should accept such behavior.

Sharon is posturing like a little bantam rooster while hiding behind the skirts of the U.S. Sharon knows that he can make threats and violate Syrian airspace as long as he has the support of American Pretender G.W.Bush. The leaders of all the Aram nations are showing remerkable restraint in the face of this little madman's actions.

It could well be that he is trying to creat a distraction for Bush to try and escape the fallout he is being barraged with.

YellowTimes.org) – There is an old joke about a man who goes to the doctor with a running nose (this was before the era of nasal decongestants). The doctor tells him to dress lightly and walk a few hours in the rain. The bewildered patient presses for an explanation, and the doctor adds, "I cannot treat a running nose, but if you get pneumonia -- then I can give you antibiotics."

The meaning of Israel's attack on Syria is that the government of Israel is taking the same route as that doctor. Unable to repress the Palestinian struggle for liberation, Israel is now trying to transform it into a regional war, for which its army is better equipped. That spells more disaster for the whole Middle East, including Israel.

The US mainstream media is deploring the fact that the US "must" choose a side in the Israel/Syria :issue". I don't need to tell you just whose side the media insists "we" must take. I put quotes around "we" because as was the case with both Afghanistan and Iraq, those who cheer on the war somehow seem able to avoid having to actually fight it. As the BBC correctly points out, Israel's real goal in attacking Syria was to sucker the United States into Israel's war on all Arabs. In other words, all those US Congressmen who took millions of dollars from Israeli lobbyists are now repaying that money with the blood of your children, who joined the US Army and will now die for Israel.

Unless you stop it.

You cannot claim innocence any longer. You KNOW the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq were created with lies and deceptions. You cannot assume that what the mainstream media is telling you about Syria is any less mendacious, and if you fail to act to stop this latest misuse of your children, the whole world will know that Americans have no more moral courage than the Germans of 1933.

As I write these words, your children are being killed and crippled in the Mideast, and your tax dollars that should build schools, repair roads, and keep hospitals open are instead pouring into the pockets of Carlyle, Halliburton, and of course, Israel.
