Dear Al-Jazeerah.info,

Thank you so much for being a voice for the Arab world, which is so little heard in the United States and so much in need of hearing.

I wish you the best of success, and I pray that you will continue your excellent work.

Sincerely,

Ken Jacobsen

Dear Mr. El-Najjar:

In light of all the propaganda emitting from CNN, Fox, MSNBC, and the other

corporate media, I want to add my support for the valuable service

Al-Jazeerah has provided to North Americans. Without your coverage, they would

otherwise lack information on the real events in the Middle East and

especially in Iraq.

It is high time that Americans stop their isolationism and the

"my-country-right-or-wrong" myths it has created and face the consequences

of the foreign policies their (s)elected officials have made and

implemented. Let's hope that the U.S. troops will get the hell out and leave

to the Iraqis themselves to decide on their own government. Unfortunately,

it will take more than wishes for that to happen.

Keep up the good work.

Yours sincerely,

Paul V. McDowell

Santa Barbara, California, U.S.A.

Lund, Sweden

Now 50 short articles of the 40 days since the war on Iraq began. A

kind of diary.

Background to concrete events. Comments on the media coverage.

Focus on things untold. Provocative questions that could have been raised.

Highligting the dilemmas, the lies, the arrogance and the wishful

thinking of a failed empire!

We don't just feature what others do. We do things original.

Finally, Kaminski on Fox-TV, by phone, 4/30/03 12:15 a.m.

Could they put me on any later?

Tuesday night, or actually, early Wednesday morning, April 30, 12:15

a.m. EDT, is when I am scheduled

to make my first appearance by telephone on the Alan Colmes show on Fox

TV, which supposedly is

seen in 25 cities.

The reason they want to talk to me, they say, is because of the article

"9/11 was a hoax" that appeared on

al-Jazeerah, London Daily, rense.com, onlinejournal.com and hundreds of

other websites.

It will be my intention to get across the point that millions of people

question the official version of the

events of 9/11 that is parroted unquestioningly by the glib droids of

the corporate megamedia, and that

the big media are complicit in the coverup of the crimes of mass murder

and treason.

It will also be my point that the attacks could not have happened

without the prearranged failure of

America's air defenses

I expect to be attacked and ridiculed, knowing what I do about Fox, but

I'm not about to take that quietly,

so expect some fireworks, as I surely have a lot more to say about the

U.S. TV networks than they do

about me.

Personally I believe the only way to stop this out-of-control American

war machine is to link Bush to

9/11 and watch him and his coterie of billionaire criminals feel the

real wrath of the betrayed American

people. I sincerely think the entire future of the human race depends on

making this connection, so wish

me luck, and I hope it's on in your city.

And, it's a call-in show so feel free to chime in. Although I cannot now

tell you what the number is, I'm

sure it will be on the screen.

Best wishes,

John Kaminski

Hawai`i Protects Civil Liberties!

FIRST STATE with Resolution!

Lane County Bill of Rights Defense Committee

Monday, April 28, 2003

http://www.efn.org/~lcbordc/

This week, Hawai`i became the first state to pass a resolution -

http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/sessioncurrent/bills/scr18_.htm

supporting our Bill of Rights and our civil liberties. In part it reads,

"Whereas the residents of Hawaii during World War II experienced first

hand the dangers of unbalanced pursuit of security without appropriate

checks and balances for the protection of basic liberties..."

Hawai'i resolves that "to the extent legally possible, no state resources

-- including law enforcement funds and educational administrative

resources -- may be used for unconstitutional activities, including but

not limited to the following under the USA Patriot Act:

(1) Monitoring political and religious gatherings exercising their First

Amendment Rights;

(2) Obtaining library records, bookstore records and website activities

without proper authorization and without notification;

(3) Issuing subpoenas through the United States Attorney's Office without

a court's approval or knowledge;

(4) Requesting nonconsensual releases of students and faculty records

from public schools and institutions of higher learning; and

(5) Eavesdropping on confidential communication between lawyers and their

clients."

The resolution was adopted by Hawai`i's House of Representatives on

Friday, April 25. It inspires all of us to work for equivalent and even

stronger measures in our own states!

Iraq’s WMD vs. West’s WMD

By Tarek Kalam

Readers have been bombarded by the Media world and

Political leaders of the Western world for decades

with Iraq’s research programme of WMD (Weapons of Mass

Destructions) and possession of WMD. I am not going to

go over this old issue of Iraq’s WMD as we all know

what it meant, who helped Iraq to develop the WMD and

who encouraged them to use it during the Iran-Iraq war

and the Kurdish uprising resulting deaths of hundreds

or perhaps thousands of innocent people.

The collapse of the Russian Empire has given birth to

new Empire and President Bush no. 1 has given the name

of this new Empire as “The New World Order”. It is now

clear what he meant by this “The New World Order” a

nick name for America’s Imperialism or Britain’s

Colonialism.

This article is dedicated solely on how Western Powers

have used their own WMD successfully since 9/11 which

they possessed for decades. It all started when

President Bush no. 2 declared openly in one of his

speech soon after 9/11 to establish his dad’s

unfinished dream i.e., “The New World Order” by

uttering his own words “the Crusades”.

Since we are living in the “Internet Age” using muscle

powers like used in the past is futile and bound to be

unsuccessful. Hence the Western world invested

billions of dollars in researching and developing

their own WMD’s. Readers of this article might think

that these WMD’s are the probably the “Smart Bombs”,

“Laser Guided Bombs”, “Tomahawk Cruise Missiles” or

perhaps the “Nuclear Bombs”. However, readers will be

surprised to find that these are NOT. The WMD that the

west have used so far resulted winning their wars

against Afghanistan last year and in Iraq recently are

totally new and certainly they are not bombs. Then

what are these precious WMD’s that the West has?

As mentioned above, the WMD’s of the west are neither

the usual conventional nor the non-conventional bombs

resulting with mass killings or injuries. They are

totally different and new but very effective. Wherever

they have used these newly precious WMD is working

effectively with lesser causality or death on their

part. The main purpose of these WMD is not to kill

people or to destroy wealth but to establish their

dream “The New World Order”.

The Western Powers have developed numerous WMD’s. One

of WMD which the West have and used successfully is to

suck the Wealth of Muslim Discoveries (WMD) i.e., Oil.

To control and continue sucking these wealth of Muslim

countries, the West are still supplying regularly to

those corrupt Arab leaders or Emirs with own Wives,

Mothers & Daughters (WMD) i.e. Prostitutes and let the

West sucking their wealth. In Afghanistan they have

managed to destroy the power of Taliban or Al-Qader by

successfully buying those Munafiqs with Wealth, Money

& Dollars (WMD). i.e., bribe. It is worth to mention

that the West also have a hidden agenda to corrupt the

young Muslim generations. They have built several

places such as clubs, pubs etc. all over the world and

Muslim countries in particular, where one can easily

find and enjoy with Women, Music & Drugs (WMD) i.e.,

characters.

Before the start of Operation Iraq Freedom, President

Bush no. 2 had set up a “Peace Map” to the Arabs,

using his promises, i.e., independent Palestine to shut the

voices of Arabs or Palestine angers. After the

downfall of Saddam and Iraq the greedy Western Power

now felt to complete their unfinished work. They are

now engaged in persuading to removing the remaining

Muslim powers and have warned countries like Syria and

Iran. Their hidden agenda is Worldwide Muslim

Destructions (WMD) i.e., Syria, Iran, Pakistan etc.

How these will be achieved by them are yet to be seen.

The cunning Western Power has not stopped here and

certainly do not want to see the Muslims living in

harmony or peace. They have now decided to Wipe out

the Muslims Developments (WMD) i.e., dependent so that

the Muslim countries remain subordinated. Finally, the

world news media that are mostly controlled by Western

world are Waging Misinformation and Deception (WMD)

i.e., falsehood to the innocent people of Muslim

World.

I hope this article will reflect many readers and

probably will give a conclusion to think which WMD’s

are more dangerous or destructive? Is it Iraq’s WMD or

West’s WMD!!!
