Dear Editor,

For the last two days the article "Howard Dean: Sharon's Man", has
forwarded a 404 Error. Is there another route I can use to review this article?

Thanks for keeping us informed.

New definition of WMD's that strikes true in Iraq:

'Worthless Military Debris'?  which, of course, Iraq has thousands of tonnes of by courtesy of the Coalition killers.  Case proven!

Dear President Bush,

As I watched the recent rape of the Iraqi people by the U.S. But there is a law of physics which says "To each action there is an equal and opposite reaction" has a way of asserting itself.

Now, I see in the news that U.S. law makers are asking America's allies to join them in the hell-hole in Iraq in which they now find themselves. Are they kidding?

Dear Editor,

I as shocked to hear that Mr. Bush is asking the American people for money
for his re-election. Isn't this the president that got America into two wars
of aggression against other countries and one against an apparently
invisible enemy, terrorism? Isn't this the president who sat talking to
grade school children after he knew that the country was, in his own words,
"under attack"? Isn't this the person who has all but bankrupted the world's
largest and one of its healthiest economies ...at least before he came into
office? Isn't this the same guy who repeatedly lied to his fellow Americans
and the world so that he could order the killing of Iraqi and Afghan women
and children by the thousands? Isn't this the leader that regularly flaunts
international law and has been described by many people around the world as
the single greatest threat to international peace and security? Isn't this
the guy who already has taken much money from Americans to be able to do all
this harm? Would you give this guy your money?

Moreover, It is ironic that the US press refers to Bush's fundraising as a
"war chest". But perhaps it is even more serious than our nonchalant press
realizes. Indeed Bush has declared war on Afghans, on Iraqis, on HIV/AIDS
suffers, on Muslims, on Arabs, on the more than 3 billion poor and
impoverished in the world, etc., and now he is undoubtedly considering
declaring war on the American people...well would it surprise anyone?

I may be completely misinformed on this issue, but it is my belief that the Palestinians don't see this Bush as their leader.  If anyone can speak to the Palestinians, it would be Yassar Arafat.  The US has no understanding of the mindset of the Arabs, and as it appears now, is not likely to in the near future.

I can't imagine that there is ANY way that the Palestinians can work with the Israelis.  I was looking at the post 1948 map of Palestine after the Brits walked out.  The Israelis have occupied most of the land that was supposed to be theirs.   Though the fact still remains that PALESTINE in its entirety belongs to the Palestinians.

I object in the strongest terms to foreign aid being given to Israel.  As long as the US supports Israel, a terrorist nation, there is little hope for the Palestinians.  Giving away Palestine to a bunch of disenfranchised Zionists as an apology for Germany's mistakes is absurd in the extreme.

Could someone correct me if I am mistaken, but the reappearance of Israel isn't supposed to happen yet by Jewish doctrine.  I am a white man of German descent, and my hopes and wishes are wholesale with the Arabs.

With this Colossal Crime committed by the Bush Junta in Iraq, Syria and Iran, there is little hope for peace as long as Republicans hold power in this country.  One thing is absolutely certain though.  The election in 2004 will tell the tale for at least the next century.  With this in mind, all of us who have given up participation in the voting process in the US will be out en masse to oust Bush & Co, and hopefully elect either Howard Dean or Dennis Kucinich, or both.  These two men will need God's help to undo the mountain of horrors committed in the name of this country.

In some ways, we in this country feel the same as the Iraqis, as a nation occupied by a ... government.   The best of luck to the Palestinians!

Ted Bohne

Editor: Ted, the real hope is Kucinich. Read Howard Dean: Sharon’s Man? By Ahmed Nassef (6/25/03) about Dean's pro-Israel positions.

Dear friend,

The President took the nation to war based on his assertion that Iraq
posed an imminent threat to our country.  Now the evidence that
backed that assertion is falling apart.

If the Bush administration distorted intelligence or knowingly used
false data to support the call to war, it would be an unprecedented
deception.  Even if weapons are now found, it'll be difficult to
justify pre-war language that indicated that the exact location of the
weapons was known and that they were ready to deploy at a moment's
notice.  With a crisis of credibility brewing abroad and the integrity
of our President and our foreign policy on the line, we need answers
now.

Please join me in asking Congress to establish an independent,
bipartisan commission to investigate the distortion of evidence now, at:

   http://www.moveon.org/distortion/

A President may make no more important decision than whether or not to
take a country to war.  If Bush and his officials deceived the American
public to create support for the Iraq war, they need to be held
accountable.

Thanks.
Eric
