TENS OF THOUSANDS OF UNCOVERED AMERICAN CHRISTIAN WOMEN PRAY TO IMAGE OF WOMAN WEARING HIJAB

Note the photo below of uncovered Christian women praying to a window

that they believe displays a Lady wearing hijab.

If this image of a Lady who unlike themselves is dressed appropriately

suddenly came alive and turned Pinocchio-style into a real human being,

what penalties (both social and legal) would she face?

The same Christians who now pray to "her" (astaghfirullahalazim!) would

suddenly demand an investigation by Homeland Security of her connections

to al-Qaeda.

She might be denied a driver's license. And the Christians would support

it.

Her telephone calls might be monitored. And the Christians would support

it.

She would attract stares wherever she went. And the Christians would

support it.

She could be denied education, employment, a credit card, a home. And the

Christians would support it.

She could be accused of being a terrorist in a courtroom or a

marketplace. And the Christians would support it.

If she visited Iraq, she would be subject to a full body search at any

time by stormtrooping antichrist gropers. And the Christians would

support it.

If she visited her home in occupied Palestine, she could be shot and

killed - and then get blamed for it by the zionists and the western

media.

And those who had prayed to the image would be in the forefront of those

who would support the killing of the person.

AIDING THE CAUSE OF PEACE

"... In recent times, the USA, under the banner of 'the war against

terrorism',

has invaded Afghanistan and Iraq, causing thousands of civilian deaths and

great physical

damage to their infrastructures. The Taliban, fanatical and rigid but, in

the main, uninvolved

in terrorism, are dispersed but are now regrouping, training in the skills

of terror. In Iraq,

Saddam Hussein is no more, but a terrible legacy of deprivation and

suffering, lawlessness

and chaos, has replaced his baleful regime.

Now the attention of the US administration has turned to Syria, Iran and

North Korea;

they are warned to change or face the wrath and might of the upholders of

'peace',

and the champions of 'liberty' in the world.

Thus does America plunge the world into the atmosphere of stress and fear,

and thus do these give fruit to epidemics and natural disasters,

which, in turn, serve to increase the fear and stress.

Dangerous

What can be done to stabilize this dangerous situation?

How can the nations keep America in check? By what

means can ordinary people bring their weight to bear?

These are large questions and have, indeed, no simple answers.

They require wisdom of an exceptional order and a coordinated approach.

Firstly, the world must realize the true nature of the problem: the USA today

is led by men responsive to a nefarious energy which prompts their actions

and puts peace in jeopardy. It stimulates their glamour for power of an

international

extent, and threatens the peace of the world..."

Very interesting Questions and Answers (such as the one below) follow the

article.

Here are two:

A. Israel

Q. How many Iraqi civilians have been killed in the so-called 'liberation'

of their country?

A. So far, 5,073. [As of 8 June 2003.]

Soviet Russia collapsed as its defence budget bankrupted its economy. A similar situation seems to be facing the United States. It is overconfident about its ability to counter all dangers that its security could face in this wide world. However, strains are fast surfacing and analysts feel there is a limit to any foolproof system of preemptive defence against terrorism that the US is facing around the world. The Israeli model, so confidently pushed on the Bush Administration by the neo-con cabal of the New American Century brand of warmongers, cannot be enlarged to world scale without grains getting thinned and dangerously spread out in the bigger picture. Oil industry observers are worried how to protect massive oil tankers on the high seas or at ancharage, forming the bloodline of the West. The US needed all the goodwill of the world for its war on terror. It was readily offered by one and all.  However, ! its new direction in Iraq, has created widespread ill-will and apprehension about the maturity of those in command. Its loyal defence and diplomatic staff are jumping the ship and heading to the opposition Democratic Party Presidential hopefuls, to position themselves to defeat Bush in the coming elections. The trend seems to be gathering momentum and unless a major policy overhaul is undertaken, Bush will end up repeating his own father's one term presidency record, facing humiliating defeat of his fictitious presidency, while waging fictitious wars for fictitious reasons.

***

With UK's Tony Blair facing charges of  'honourable deception' from his erstwhile cabinet colleague Clair Short, and of  "series of half truths, exaggerations, reassurances that weren't the case" from his senior party member who resigned in March over Blair's poodle servility to US President Bush, the wind of revulsion to the combined US/UK 's deceptive war on Iraq, taking away all the fig leaves of fictitious coverage of naked aggression, it is time to force both governments to hand over Iraq to UN trusteeship and pull out their forces, post-haste.

India under the ambitious leadership of Vajpayee and Advani, if they both are so desperate to play in the big league, should consider harnessing a bigger 'coalition of the willing' within the NAM and OIC group at the UN and push through for a face-saving device to get both of the illegal aggressors out of their created mess in Iraq. There can never be a better chance for India to act as peacemaker in Middle East, while at the same time giving Iraqi people the real chance of liberation both from Saddam as well as from Bush/Blair occupation. The UN trusteeship, should ensure the integrity of the nation, run the administration towards a free and fair election process to hand over Iraq to its own people, lock, stock and oil barrels all together.

One hopes, this will be a much better option for India, rather than sending its forces to get involved in the bloody cross-fire and become part of the problem, rather than part of the solution, as Advani wrongfully thinks he is trying to be.
