Platform for Political Activism: Oct 27th

For over a decade, students, religious, labor, veterans, human rights, and social/global justice groups have been converging every November at the gates of Fort Benning, GA to speak out in solidarity with the people of the Americas and to engage in nonviolent direct action. We will gather again this year on November 20 and 21 to continue together in the struggle until the School of the Americas is closed and the policies it represents are changed forever!

For the upcoming School of the Americas(SOA)demo (http://www.soaw.org/new/)

we'll have two events at Georgia Tech, sponsored by Amnesty International and prepared by faculty and students at Tech. The first is scheduled on Oct.27'th,official announcement will follow soon.
We also like to offer a platform for political activism. If you have material, films, speakers etc. for political/human rights issues, we can offer you facilities, advertisement, profs and students to participate in the event.
Just e-mail me.
